The S.A. government is addicted to tax from corporates who sell addictive products or services.Government must become independent of its dependency to sin tax and use sin taxes exclusively for purposes of substance abuse prevention and treatment. Can South Africans and others stand together and change sin tax policy?

I hope so. I don’t think that government should be doing this. Government’s should have limited power, and should not be trying to regulate things through taxes. Taxes should solely be revenue based, and morality neutral.
