Can someone explain the difference between “Use” and “Used”?

Question by Benji: Can someone explain the difference between “Use” and “Used”?
I think I’m using the wrong words sometimes.
Example 1: “Sarah wasn’t used to the extreme heat.”
Example 2: “Michael attempted to get use to the harassment, but it was difficult at times.”

Use is future tence and Used is pars tence
