can losing weight quickly cause heart attacks?

Question by fishy man: can losing weight quickly cause heart attacks?
I am a fairly young male, about 23, and I wasn’t really trying to lose weight, but detox by switching to only fibrous vegetables for about a few weeks. I noticed a rapid drop in energy (which I assumed was due to me not taking in sugar or fat), but more shockingly, recently in the last couple days I have had horrible chest pains, throbbing, and on occasion, like at work, I will get lightheaded after about 4-5 hours, and even sometimes tingling sensations in my fingertips and toes. This is really shocking to me, I changed my diet to try and detox, but this I am afraid might potentially cause some serious problems – could it be that lipid levels in my blood are raising blood pressures to extremes and putting pressure on my heart? Anyone have any ideas about these heart pains?

Rapid weight loss includes rapid muscle loss if done improperly… and, after all, the heart is a muscle !
