Can I use my original recovery disc?

Question by Christop: Can I use my original recovery disc?
I had a bad motherboard replaced a couple months ago (they used a different one and had to reinstall OS). Can I use the original recovery disc, or do I have to go back to the idiots at the repair center?

you can’t..

recovery discs are designed specifically for your old motherboard. that’s why they had to reinstall the OS.

NT based operating systems such as Windows 2000, XP, and Vista will not run on machines which they were not originally installed, such as transferring hard disk with OS to another computer…
