Question by Joe: Can I use a Windows XP Media Center 2005 licence with XP Home CD?
I have a hard drive I need to replace. The problem is my recovery cds won’t work unless I am reinstalling on the original hard drive because it needs the recovery partition. All I have is an XP home oem cd and the license it came with is already in use on another machine so I cant use it on another pc. I was wondering if i could use my oem Media Center license on the COA to install Windows XP home edition? Thanks
