Can a person stay sober from cocaine addiction without any meetings?

My boyfriend is clean for seven months and he is talking about
not going to meetings anymore. He says he is fine and meetings sometimes depress him and he stays in the problem at the meetings. I am not convinced, although I felt that way about alonon. It was good when things were very bad, but I don’t have an urge to go because I know I will feel sad? What do you think? Please share.
