Question by Jane: Brothers a pill addict.?
Im 15 years old,my brothers 17.Hes been using for 2 years and I’ve always known.We used to do it togetehr until I nearly OD’d and got so sick I swore to never do it again.I still havnt,but hes getting so bad with them.He moved out and moved in with my grandma and grandpa.My grandpa is an alcoholic,(&I mean ALCOHOLIC!l12 case of beer every night) My grandma is sick and theyre both blind to any problems going on.My brother,Scott,has gotten so skinny,and so sick.I knew all along and I told him i’d do anything if he would just quit and he swore he dosnt even have a problem and dosnt even do it anymore.I’ve been wanting to tell my mom but didnt know how because I was so scared of what Scott would do to me or himself.Last night,one of Scotts good friends mother called my mom and told her she knew Scott has been using but its getting very bad now to the point where hes taking 6 roxys in one day.My mom finally confronted him and he denied all of it and then she drug tested him,and he failed for cokaine,meth,heroine,and 6 other drugs.My mom knew he was on the pills while this was all going on,so she took him to re-hab.The dr. called my mom today and told her he was going through detox and was going absolutley ballistic.Hes going to be released in 7 days.He said he refuses to come back to our house and wants to go back to my grandparents.Well Im pretty sure the only reason he wants to go back there is because its easy for him to sneack out and go get high again.If he relapses I know hes going to end up killing himself because hes very suicidal.I dont what to do.Im so over whelmed and i just want my brother back.Do you think my mom should just force him to come live with us?Does she have that say?Anyone been through a similar situation?What can I do to help him and my family?please help.

all you can do is hope that while he is at an intreatment program, they will get through to him.after that, its up to him.
