This cigarette pack demo shows how BrandAuthen nanoparticles are completely invisible on the consumer product, but light up in full color under a UV light. This technology differs from other fluorescing particles, which are pigment based and cant be printed in clear layers over other graphics. This technology is used to stop counterfeiters, who can reverse engineer some technologies such as holograms, but can’t reverse engineer nanoparticles, which are some 10000 times smaller than the width of a human hair. BrandAuthen represents a powerful addition to any brand protection program, since it is simple to authenticate, yet virtually impossible to duplicate.
