Blue Screen of Death?

I was on my pc and then an error notice “illegal use” or something like that and my pc froze. i heard thats the blue screen of death , and now my harddrive wont boot. how do i fix it! it starts up fine runs through the boot then just goes to a blank screen , not blue but just black.
Ive got the windows xp disk but how do i repair it with the disk if i wont get past the boot screen.

That happened to me recently, I believe something made your hard drive go corrupt, or your computer is old. Contact the maker of the pc and see what they say?
