Man gets 8 months for forgery, theft
A South Point man was sentenced Wednesday to 8 months in prison for forgery and theft from an elderly person. Benjamin Layne, 31, of 4104 County Road 15, South Point, pleaded guilty to the charges in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.
