I really don’t know what you mean by the term “rehab” here. The average stay at at the hospital for a transplant is about 16 days. I think it takes about 3- 6 months post op to get back to being pretty normal. It takes longer for your body to adjust to everything like a person might have diabetes up to 2 years after their transplant and sometimes it never goes away. A person must take specific drugs for the rest of their life to keep the body from rejecting the organ. Routine blood work will always be a part of your life also.
