Question by Mark N: Are Ultra White lights illegal in texas? More info inside…?
I recently ordered new headlights for my vehicle. An employee of the place where I ordered them recommended I get ultra white light bulbs, so they shine better. When I received the packages, on the case for the light bulbs it says:
“For show car use only”
“Not legal for street use”
They are Ultra White light bulbs by matrix.

On the sticker it says:
9005 12V 100W

You probably won’t get messed with unless you are dealing with a jackass cop.. the kind that would write you a ticket for limo tint, or a clear cover over your license plate.
