Are there any known Atheist organizaitons supporting H.R. 1866?

Question by Atheist Slayer: Are there any known Atheist organizaitons supporting H.R. 1866?
Because Atheism is not a “religious” organization, therefore no church and state issues, are there any atheist organizations that are advocating the Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2009? Strictly for scientific reasons.

I ask this because I have found a few sites promoting “cannabis” referencing the part in the bible where it is said, “and God gave us all seed bearing plants for our use.” (words to that effect)
okay, so I mispelled a word, I’ve been researching all day and decided to drink a few beers, give me a break!
extra detail: H.R. 1866 is about Industrial Hemp, NOT marihuana! That is the big difference. Hemp is not marihuana, it has no “get high” effect.
The sites that are trying to tie the two together are making a mess of things, that’s my point, ms Catholic. and for the record I am too! … and so is Marylin Manson!

“God gave us all seed bearing plants for our use” doesn’t mean that we are free to do anything and everything we want with plants.

After all, we can take bamboo plants, sharpen them up, and use them to kill people — does “God gave us all plants for our use” therefore make this okay?

I’m not equating marijuana use to murder. But I am simply pointing out the lack of logic in using the above quote to justify drug use.
