Are any of these incidents considered physical abuse?

Question by Kate: Are any of these incidents considered physical abuse?
Hi everyone, so basically one of my parents would get angry a lot, and no doubt “abused” us emotionally/mentally/verbally etc… but there were a few incidents that I wish were justified. I broke down at school one day and the counselor found out, called in the other parent, and did nothing after that, and that really made me mad, because I wanted to talk about it, but nope 😛 haha. Thankfully, the parent has gotten better, but I still wish that more was done about the past. Anyways, I was wondering, would these incidents count as physical “abuse”, or proper disciplinary actions?
-When I was about six, the parent spilled paint in the floor, and the parent pulled me by the hair across the floor into my room. I actually hardly remember the incident, other than being dragged by my hair and such… and the fact that I didn’t even do anything haha.
-There have been multiple times of slapping across the face (hard lol), although I feel that I deserved it some of the times for being disrespectful. However, the parent has said that they are willing to do it again, have no problem with it, and their parents did it too hah.
-One day, I accidently spilled some food on the desk and the parent proceeded by calling me a fu***** pig, and then was trying to “apologize” and grabbed me by the wrists and was pulling and would not let go, regardless of the fact that I repeatedly told the parent to stop. They had sharp nails, and actually left a small bruise on my arm from too much force, and then scratched my wrist from the nails, which actually left a scar.
-The final incident is what I believe was taken out of control, where the parent was mad because I didn’t agree to their “kitchen towel method” and the other parent left, then the parent pushed me against the door and was holding me by the neck… then continued to say that they would hit me, they want to hit me, and that they will hit me. (But of course, never did!)
Thankfully nothing has happened since then. Any thoughts? I feel stupid asking this, but oh well.

Yes, those are horrible incidents of physical abuse. You’re lucky…Many kids get killed by their parents everyday. Some kids are abused worse….like Dave Pelzer. Call CPS or just take it.
