I was just wondering if anyone ever contacted the show Intervention in regards to being on the show to help a loved one with an addiction? My brother-in-law is the worst he has ever been and I was thinking about contacting them…I was just wondering if anyone had done this before. Did you receive a call back? Did you get that person on the show? I am just curious. I’m sure a lot of people sign up and it’s a long shot…but just wondering.
Jd Ma – Good for you for not enabling her. My father-in-law is supporting him financially and he just doesn’t realize that he won’t get better until he stops. If we could get his father to stop rescuing him all the time then maybe he would try to get better. *sigh*

Yeah, I sent in an e-mail about by best-friend’s alcoholism. It’s been almost a year, and I haven’t heard anything back yet. I actually haven’t talked to my friend in about 3 months because of the alcohol. I told her I was done until she gets better. I’m not going to enable her anymore!

Edit: Thanks. It’s hard to basically give up a friendship with someone you’ve known for 34 years. But I know it’s for her own good. Her husband is thisclose to leaving with their 10 year old girl.
