Any tips for an Intervention?!?

Question by Kelly: Any tips for an Intervention?!?
My family is planning an intervention for my sister. She has become addicted to cocaine, marijuana, illegal narcotics, and alcohol. We are going to write letters, tell her how much we lover her, and have a neutral party present but I would like to know if anyone has anymore suggestions.

OK When talking to her, focus on coke and the narcotics. Don’t mention marijuana, cause it’s not addicting, and frankly it’s not all that bad. Also, she shouldn’t have to QUIT alcohol, just tone it down, if possible.
You should tell her what you all will do if she does NOT stop, including ostracizing her and kicking her out of whatever house she’s in. Trips to a treatment center is definatley the best option, but you can’t force someone to do it if they don’t want to. Focus on how she has personally torn apart your family, but don’t make it seem like it’s all her fault. Good luck, I will pray for your family.
