Question by Sam: Any computer geeks in here?
OK, I turn on my Zune.

On its screen it says “Connect Zune to your PC.”

After I do it, it says ” On your PC, open the Zune software and restore the Zune device firmware.”

Then I open the software and it automatically goes to the “Device Update” on the setting page. Then it says this…
Device software version
Current device software version: Device Recovery Mode
Required update available: 2.3 (1145)
.
.
.
*You must update your device before you can use it.

Then I click on the “Install” button, it says this…
Updating your Zune device.
Please do not disconnect your device.
This might take a minute.

Then it says this…
Device was not updated
Error Summary:
Your device did not update.
Error Code:
C00D1249

Then I click on the “Web Help” and it says on the website…
Summary
Unfortunately, there is no specific Web Help message for this error yet.

I’ve tried reseting my Zune but this whole thing repeats again.
What is wrong with my Zune and what should I do?
