Why is the bill 2500 pages?

How is it going to make my costs cheaper?

Do we have enough MD’s to treat 30 million more people?

Who is going to get stuck paying for it?

I think a big part of the problem with out health insurance is all of the state mandates. In my state drug addiction, alcohol addiction, contraceptives, infertility, TMJ, etc are all mandated coverages.

If a druggie or alcoholic can afford the alcohol and drugs, they can afford to pay their own treatment.

Why should I have so subsidize contraceptives?

If a woman can’t afford infertility treatment, can she really afford a baby?
My point is those listed mandates are not catastrophic and the more insurance has to cover the higher our premiums are going to be.

We need to be able to buy strictly catastrophic health insurance for catastrophic events with no limits on coverage and high deductibles.
