Am I qualified to perform a drug intervention on my daughter?
Two days ago, I discovered that my daughter is addicted to heroin. She had this habit of locking herself inside her room and I just ignored it because she told me that she is focusing on her studies. I had no idea that she was actually focusing on heroin and not on her lectures. As her father, I knew that I have to take action. I had this idea of intervening with my daughter’s addiction but I’m scared. I’m not sure if I’m the right person for the job because I was an addict too. I was into marijuana for five years and I got treated just two years ago. Should I do it?
