Abusing prescription adderrall – would the effects be similar to using meth?
Question by JEN A: Abusing prescription adderrall – would the effects be similar to using meth?
If someone was abusing prescription Adderrall, could the effects be similar to using meth? Is is possible to take Adderrall intrevenously? My boyfriend recently committed suicide & his therapist mentioned she thought he was using meth. I had never known him to prefer or use meth, he was physically addicted to opiates, and this was news to me when she told me that. I know she had been prescribing him Adderrall for ADHD, & he had a tendancy to abuse any medication he was given. I’m wondering if she said this because he could’ve quite possibly been abusing the medication she was prescribing & I know she would write out prescriptions for more than he needed.
Also, many of you have expressed concern with his psychiatrist being unethical with discussing his treatment, etc. As far as I know, he told me that he had signed a release allowing me to obtain information before he passed away.
