Question by Phate: A place for drug users to clean up, forcefully or voluntarly?
Does anyone know any centers where drug addicts can go are can be sent to be clean up. I don’t mean rehab because rehab is completely voluntary. But a place where he can be forced to be taken until he is fit to go back into regular society

The cost does not matter to me.
I live in the southern california area, any references would be appreciated thank you.

there really are places like that there I am sure, I would call a hospital, they would know. Most hospitals have their own programs. Depending on the age of the user, there isn’t much help on the involuntary side of this any more but a friend of mine went to a place that strongly persuaded his 20 yr old son to enroll. That turned out successfully.
