Has anyone used “NON-STOP Odor Absorber”?
Question by Sick of all u Tards.: Has anyone used “NON-STOP Odor Absorber”?
I have a friend who had water problems in his basement and now that the damage has been fixed, there is still a strong, bad smell that we are trying to get rid of.
It goes all the way to the 1st floor and those “Plug-In” fragrance things only mix with the bad smell, making it slightly better, but still just smells like crap & cinnamon apple.
The machines that filter the air are super expensive and since this won’t last forever, buying a machine to do it seems extreme.
This Odor Absorbing Gel can be purchased in a 4 pound bucket and “Lasts For Months” so hopefully it will be a one time purchase but if it doesn’t do anything in the first place, it doesn’t matter how long it “Lasts”.
If you have ever used this product, what was your experience like?
If you have ever had bad smells coming from a basement, what did you do to stop it?
Thanks for any advice or info you can provide.

I’ve never used the non-stop (strange name for something that’s supposed to stop odors, eh?), but I’ve found that several of those really big boxes of baking soda have worked for me in the past – I just sat them on paper plates around my basement with a bunch of holes poked in them and they worked for quite awhile and were cheap!
