How much would it effect you…?
Question by Mr. Vincent Van Jessup: How much would it effect you…?
..if you went to sign onto yahoo one day, and your account had been deleted? And I mean everything: your variant IDs, your friends lists, your email account, everything?
You know, this happens to people every single day. I notice when people to whom this has happened (and I AM NOT one of them, by the way) come here to complain about it, they get a very unsympathetic hearing, most times. I wonder why that is. We hear a lot of complaints about trolls using the “report abuse” function to get good users in trouble. So why is the idea that this is just trolling carried to its logical conclusion so hard to imagine? And why wouldn’t you feel any empathy or sympathy for someone in such circumstances?
There’s no right or wrong answer. I’d just like some thoughtful feedback on 1) would you be upset if it happened to you and 2) why do you (or many of you, anway) seem unconcerned when it happens to anyone else here?
