Is my Maplestory character fucked?

Question by zemperta: Is my Maplestory character fucked?
Some asshole troll on Maplestory said he’d “help” me level my character, telling me what all to put my SP into. I’m a wizard. I maxed out Magic Claw and put a bunch of points into MP recovery and that Max Mp skill thing. But nothing into Magic Guard. Now everyone I talk to says Magic Guard is very very important. I’m now a level 37 Ice/Lightning mage with 3 SP into Cold Beam and the rest into thunderbolt. Is there still room to toss a point into Magic Guard every few levels so it’s maxed by level 80 (When people say it becomes a neccessity) and still be a good character, or am I just screwed. I’m not making a new character, cuz I spent 10 bucks giving this one a cosmetic makeover.
I’m not making a new character. Geez can’t anyone on this site read descriptions? I’ve asked about 10 questions since I joined and every one of them gets answers that go against shit I put in the description.

u have to make a new charater, what sever are u playing in? If u play in Mardia then I can help u train.
