Funny story?!?!?!? ?

So, I went to the barn with my best friend yesterday. It was my first time in a barn in MONTHS. He wants me to go there but I’m not a fan of it. It’s a decent barn but my old one was 100x better.

So, he’s supposed to ride this one horse named Knight. But Knight was acting weird when he got on so they made him ride this other horse he hates, JB (I found out that stands for James Buttercup :P). He’s a palomino QH like Nugget, but with a blaze instead of a star (He made me kind of sad because of that). But anyways. This other girl rode JB in a lesson before my best friend’s, and JB was going perfectly. So my best friend gets on and immediately JB starts acting like a putz.

So by the end he got JB kind of going round…. Not really, but kind of. So, his mom and I went to say hi to some of the horses while he untacked. And we go over to the other side of the barn where he’s untacking. And JB’s halter is on upside down.

I was like “Josh, you know his halter’s on wrong, right?”
He goes: “He was tossing his head so much I couldn’t get it on right.”
I go “Well, let me help.”

And so we take his halter off. I stand there holding his mane while Josh tries to put his halter on right. And JB kept tossing his head. So I put my arm under his neck like you’re supposed to (You know, hand goes behind the ears, etc.) and go “Josh, if you hold him like this he can’t toss his head.” and Josh goes “Yeah, but I can’t put the halter on while I’m doing that.” And of course, JB quits tossing his head as soon as I do that and stands there for Josh to put his halter on.

So later on after he was being an a$ $ in the wash rack I told Josh that he needed to show JB he was the boss. I did and he quit acting like an idiot. But, Josh being the typical idiot he is, said it was all JB’s fault. So I quoted one of my favorite sayings “99% of the time it’s the rider’s fault.” And he was all “No it’s not, it’s JB not me!”

But I just wanted to share that with you LOL 🙂 Any funny stories you have?
