Dude both the the lactic acid fermentation and alcoholic fermentation both occur in the prokaryotes. Go it?
In both ATP is made.
In A.Fermentation the ethanol is made and is taken to the liver so that 80% of which are converted to glycolysis and 20% into pyruvates and these are used when the oxygen is availbale again.
In LA.Fermentation lactate is produced and it’s formation is irreversible.
Hope i did help : )
