This little owl was picked up today and he will be taken to a special rehab center for birds of prey until he can be released back into the wild. He is a “Sew Whet” owl. These are very small owls and very cute. They are also awesome hunters, and they very important in nature to keep the population of mice and other rodents under control. Owls are cool!
