is 3500 dollars for a wedding and reception and 100guests too much?

Question by Don’t breed or buy: is 3500 dollars for a wedding and reception and 100guests too much?
I got an estimate from a place up the road, and here’s what they sent:
“We can do the catering, set up and clean up, supply all chairs with covers, tables, tents, linens, cake, flowers for house and tables, beverages (non-alcoholic) use of property for 6 hours for approx. $ 3500.00. If you would like beer and wine there would be an additional charge. I have enclosed our menus (you can choose buffet or hor d’euvres) and cakes. The price is based on 100 guest and includes all servers and help.”

I doubt there will be 100 guests just because some family and friends have never really cared about special evens in my life or anybody elses for that matter(except theirs) so it may go down to about between 60-70 guests….

That is a great price!!!!! I doubt you will find another like it… Our reception alone was quoted anywhere between 13000 and 22000….Good luck
