I need to know a number to call PLEASE for my brother, He just recently got out of jail again and he is throwing his life away again right down the drain on crystal METH and i need to get him HELP i can not stand by and watch this anymore before DEATH happens i will step in and take charge.. if anyone knows of a intervention live number or a rehab out of the city san bernardino a drug rehab oanything at this moment please give me details..thank you so much…

You can’t throw your brother in rehab. Interventionists charge big bucks, they can’t force him into rehab if he doesn’t want to go either. In California, even a judge can’t force someone to go to rehab against their will.

Rehab won’t do any good if he’s not motivated and determined to get clean. Rehabs do not “fix” people, they may help if the person wants to change, even that’s no guarantee, not even good odds.

Rehabs in this country are 90+% 12step facilitation, AA/NA-based. They have a slightly higher than ‘free’ AA which has about a 5% success rate, the same as no treatment at all. The majority of the rest are Narconon, Scientology-based or heavily religious.

The only thing you can do is talk to him. No yelling, no begging, no threats. Telling him you’re afraid of what’s happening to him and your relationship.
