I have a friend who has a sex addiction, I have finally convinced them to let me help them get over it. At first they just said “I can do it on my own, I don’t need help”
so it has been about 4 or 5 days now I believe… anyway, I need help I don’t know how to help him or what to do. so far I told him not to date anyone and though on day one he had a problem with that he broke up with the girl and its all good now.
but whats the next step? When I try to talk to him I am always like lets play a game (you know to get his mind off it) then he says I am treating him like a child and he gets mad.

I am also worried because I know he is a good looking guy and a few girls have tried to seduce him. I even had a small fling with him, all we did was kiss but still that was about a month ago and only lasted a day.

he is 32 and I am 18 so I don’t think he is comfortable with the age difference, but I basically blackmailed him into letting me help and I know he won’t accept it from anyone else. He cant even see his therapist anymore because they slept together.

also I keep telling him to call me if he ever feels like its getting out of hand but he hasn’t really talked to me at all.

what are some things I can do to help?
