Grant renewed for leading-edge imaging center
LOS ANGELES — A five-year, $ 10-million grant supporting a leading-edge molecular imaging center at UCLA has been renewed by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for a third cycle, bringing the total support for the center to $ 30 million.

This year’s recipient is Avrum Spira, M.D., M.Sc., associate professor of medicine, pathology and laboratory medicine and director, Translational Bioinformatics Program, Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Boston University.
