Question by snake_plissken8: Is it okay to be an alcoholic and attenda NA meetings?
I got to AA meetings but I might want to attend some NA meetings to hear recovery from a different viewpoint. I abused presciption drugs while drinking alcohol but I am no longer addicted to those prescription drugs and use the drugs as prescribed.

There is nothing wrong about it, especially since you do have a past in it. No one is going to kick you out because you’re not currently struggling with narcotics.
