Volunteering?

Does anybody take part in any Voluntery work? I work full time (8am-5pm Monday to Friday) but am about to start voluntery for a drugs and alcohol rehabilitation charity.

I just wanted if anyone else volunteers, what do you do and how did you get involved?

I was not a full time volunteer, but I did do volunteer work for my son’s school, helping to tutor kids in the after school program. I had fun and apparently the kids did too! Most of them wanted me to be a teacher, but it is a lot easier doing it one on one. LOL I don’t think I could have handled all those little personalities at once!

I would have liked to become a volunteer for a nearby hospital in town, but they worked an 8-hour day and I worked during those hours.
