I dont have kids I’m 15 and dont plan to have any or soon atleast. Well I was wondering if it was illigal to spank your child? Not like whip them just spank them like 3-4 times with cloth on. Is doing that considered “child abuse”? I was spanked when I was younger when I behaved bad but I only cried for like 5 mins then I’d just run off and play. If spanking your child is illigal how are you supposed to disipline your kids? Im not saying that ppl should hit there kids for everything just when there is really no other choice. For example I have these little cousins that are little devils everytime they come over they jump on tables couches throw stuff at our tv once wrote on the new floor with perm marker so there mom spanked them and this is the only thing that will get them to stop and behave.

it not illegal, but I nevwer spank my children, I have 3 ages 2 months, 11/2 and 4. I talk to them when they are bad, and never resort to hitting them. Its all a matter of morals
