cocaine makes your heart rate go extremely fast. If you overdose you probs can get a heart attack.
it also makes you have a lot of energy and feel euphoria when on it, making u want more, thus making u addicted. the effect on the brain is that it triggers dopamine, which is a neurotransmitter in the brain that regulates emotion, motivation, pleasure, etc.
