Serious frustration over meth uses/makers?
Question by Bohemian_Garnet_Permaculturalist: Serious frustration over meth uses/makers?
I am so very frustrated (angered) by meth users and makers. I’m a farmer on a small, permaculture farm.
I’ve used Vet strength iodine for years for the hooves of my livestock, and to dip umbilical cords on newborns.
I’ve also made my own homemade soap, using Red Devil lye.
Both of these products are used to manufacture meth. I don’t get how people can possibly use a “drug” that contains such powerful and caustic chemicals?! How could someone snort, inject, or whatever else they do with it?!
I am so frustrated by drug users affecting my daily operations on my farm. I’m also frustrated by people who thought it was a good idea to pass these restrictive laws, forbidding the sale of these products, even to people with a farm tax I.D. number!
When did meth first appear? What idiot would think, “hey if I dump all these chemicals together, I bet I could snort it up my nose and get high?”
I think a certain someone who answered this question (?) needs to grow up and get a clue.
I stated I’m a permaculture farmer. That means I’ll be growing my own food and working the farm until I’m in my 90’s. I’ll never retire.
As for out of work people…shall we chat about that? Three adults in my family, living in the same house. One has not had a paycheck in 16 months. Another has not had a paycheck in 12 months. Yet we continue to make it, and are not a drain on society, because we bust our butts producing our own food, for ourselves, and even our livestock. We can even grow and produce our own fuel.
Shall we talk about freedoms? NOBODY knows better about how regulated the U.S.A. has become, and how farmers lack freedoms more than any other sector of people (except actual prisoners).
Shall we chat about the 50 feet of land on either side of the creek and drainage ditch the Government said we must fence off and never, ever use? That’s 50 feet on each side of
creek, plus the width of the creek or dainage ditch itself. So more than 120 feet for the entire length of our property.
Shall we talk about how farms are the only business in the entire U.S.A. which cannot fail to make a profit in 3 out of 5 years, or they loose all of their tax deductions going years back? Every other business in the U.S.A. is allowed to run in the red for as long as they want, no problems from the I.R.S…..only farmers have problems like that.
Shall we talk about how it’s not legal for me to butcher an animal for my customers, but have to have it FDA inspected?
How about the fact that I have to put an I.D. tag on every single one of my animals (even suppose to tag my horses by law), yet major agricultural companies which make billions in profits can just use a single number for entire herds or flocks?
How about the coyotes that I cannot legally trap, or poison, yet they have killed 12 of my goats with zero financial recourse for me?
How about the fact that my Great Pyrenees, which now live 24/7 with my goats to protect them fall under the same stupid “no bark” laws that non-working yap-yap dogs fall under? So I have to prevent my working farm dogs from doing their job and barking to scare off the coyotes….but it’s illegal for me to trap, or poison the coyotes?!
How about the cougar that is making kills all around my farm? Why is it illegal for me to kill him to defend my business?
How about having to allow the Government onto our property to inspect our chickens, when bird flu broke out accross the border from us? I had a single rooster…the raccoons had killed the rest of my hens!
How come we have to pay the same rate on insurance as semi truck drivers for our one ton truck and 48 foot trailer?
Shall I go on? I guarantee that farmers have lost far more rights than any other sector of people.
As for why we don’t want idiots in our pastures looking for mushrooms? Because we have dangerous stock. Livestock Guardian dogs, bulls, rams, stallion, ect.
If our livestock stomps you into a bloody pile of human pudding, you get to sue us, and you’ll win. Even though you were tresspassing.
You folks also tend to leave garbage, human waste, and harm our fences. Do you know how many thousands of dollars I have in fencing? Hint: The fencing is now worth more than the house. So no, I don’t want your worthless a$ $ climbing our fences.
You sound like a very angry person…you also sound like a very worthless person. Get off your rear, and go to work.

I hope meth never comes to my country. Canadians prefer weed.
