Question by Garretty A: What should we do for love?
My boyfriend and I are 27 and recently got in trouble with our families behind selling and useing cocaine. we were living with my parents because we lost our house in Katrina. When everything went down I went to rehab and he move to Baton Rouge to live with his family. We are both serious about our recovery and working the program. The problem is my parents dont want me to see him and his parents dont want him to see me. We dont want to disrespect our parents but we love each other more now than we ever did and want to get married. I sugested that we go to the justice of the peace but he says he dosent want to take that away from my mom. And I do want a wedding. But what should we do to break the ice with our parents, so we can atleast start to see each other and not have to sneek to do it? We can see my parents will come around sooner or later but his mom is a whole nother story. As it is no one is ever going to be good enough for her son especally me. Because of the past. HELP!

If you love your boyfriend then marry him dont listen to your parents screw them. if you are madly in love then go for whatever your instinct says… GOOD LUCK ON THE MARRIAGE
