What is the patient care unit?
Question by nurseinthemaking: What is the patient care unit?
NICU is for intensive care neonates, outpatient rehab is for those post-surgery or post-disease but what exactly is the PCU? Is it a mesh of people that just need to be looked after? Is it only adults? What type of people tend to occupy the PCU as patients?
