Paragraph –

“Also when you heat the alcohol up maybe the flames were not touching the calorimeter and so can affect how much alcohol is burnt, so if it took a long time to heat up then more alcohol would be used but if it heated up quickly then less alcohol would be used.”

If alcohol fuel is supplied at a fixed rate, the time required to heat the calorimeter by a certain number of degrees depends on the amount of alcohol fuel burned
