fact: cannabis (marijuana) is a schedule I drug.
fact: a schedule I drug is defined as a drug “having no accepted medical use” and “high potential for abuse”
fact: thirteen states have made medical-grade marijuana legal, and over 2,000 doctors recommend it to their patients, thus making it safe to say the drug has a medical purpose.
fact: cannabis will not cause physical dependence. it is almost impossible to overdose on cannabis. does this seem like a drug that has “a high potential for abuse”?
