Question by Mr.Orange: Will my brain still develope after 4 years of drug and alcohol abuse?
When I turned 16 I started using drugs and alcohol regularly and its been like this for the last 4 years. I recently went sober. will my brain develope the parts that didn;t while I was using? im about to be 20 years old in 3 months. Do I have a chance to be normal like I used to? I noticed that I confuse words when I talk and im not as funny as I used to be

The longer you stay sober, the better you will get. Unfortunately, your brain is still growing from the time that you are 16-20. You won’t ever have the brain capacity of someone who doesn’t drink or hasn’t done drugs.
