Question by bonnie g: How am I going to find addiction treatment centers in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania?
The reason why I’m asking is because I have just recently decided that I want to become an addiction counselor. I have lost some friends to alcohol and I know how tough it is to deal with situations like that. I really want to help out those who are suffering from their substance addiction, as well as their loved ones who are affected as well.

Wow. That’s a really noble aspiration. I do hope that you succeed in pursuing this endeavor. It would really help a lot of people out there.

Anyway, to find addiction treatment centers, you can use the links below or look in the local phone directory. I believe it would be good if you’ve got a background in psychology, although I think they would probably require you to take up a few courses regarding addiction counseling first before you become qualified to become an addiction counselor.
