Question by Sunshinz: Can someone give me information on recovering drug addiction?
This question is pertaining to my brother who’s been on drugs for the longest. In and out of jail, you name, etc. Recently he’s been in rehap, supposedly going to meetings. My question is…should he be drinking alcohol? I don’t think he should because they’re both an addiction. Perhaps, drinking could cause him to have a relapse. I don’t know much but I think I know he shouldn’t be drinking at all! Anyone with any experience in recovering from drugs or alcohol please share your knowledge.
I had a New Year’s gathering over to the house…he drank, and during our mother’s celebration (b-day) he was drinking. Thanks!

He may be trading addictions……to be successful you must abstain from any thing that changes the way you feel.
