Question by Jus Dani: How do I get my husband to quit drinking?
I’ve been with my husband for 8 years (married for 2 years). We have 2 kids together. He has always drank but in the last few years his drinking has gone from bad to way WORSE!! He drinks everyday. He has made so many promises and broke them. I don’t have anyone to rely on but him unfortunately to help me out so I feel like I can’t leave him and I don’t want to. I love him. He is a great person when he is sober. I just want it to stop so bad. Help!

If I had a dollar for every time I heard – when he’s sober he’s a great person but when he drinks…

You can’t change him but you can change yourself – you need to get yourself and your children away from him

Then get some therapy – people date drinkers for a reason – figure out your reason
