Question by Scorinitron: How to restore to factory settings when recovery partition has been deleted.?
I have a gateway desktop PC (GX-7022E) with the factory recovery CD. However while reformatting my hard drive I accidentally deleted the recovery partition. Now I restored my computer with the factory disk but it only restores the OS and some drivers, not a complete reinstall. In order for a complete factory reinstall I would need to have the recovery partition back. Any help in terms of how to get that recovery partition back? Thanks in advance.

If you formatted the partition there is no way to get it back. Sorry, I know this wasn’t the answer you were hoping for. It is the correct answer though. 🙁
