Question by just julie: What type of job would this be? Need some really good input?
I want to do something to contribute to society in a big way. I want to be a behind-the-scene type of person though that helps implement programs and to investigate to make sure things are followed through after wards.
I am interesting in ending homelessness in America, creating much better drug rehabilitation programs as well as offering more help for felons leaving prison, as there is little that they can even work at or get assistance with after serving their time.

I have a BA in Social Work and Elementary Education.

Obviously from my first sentences, dipping soup or passing out fliers would not cut it for me. I want to be able to start or at least help create these programs and see them through.

Shew, what would this position type even be called??????

Just give me some suggestions as to the title. Thanks 🙂

Whew-not sure of any titles but from the work I’ve done with homeless I’d try to contact some of the leaders of the local programs for leads or direction. Everyone I’ve ever worked with has always been very helpful and would love to help someone with great ideas and desire “move up.” A few other ideas for information: Try contacting local religious and community (including political-who knows?) leaders.
