Paranoia

Paranoia is an important symptom in psychiatry it can come in a variety of degrees. A paranoid delision is a fixed false belief. There are a number of conditions when one observes paranoia including mental illness (schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar, depression) , substance use (cocaine intoxication, methaphetamine intoxication, and general medical conditions (neuropsychiatric lupus, brain tumor in the limbic lobe), transient stress can cause it in vulnerable people (borderline pd, complex PTSD). It is actually easy to treat if it is severe enough to need pharmacotherapy. Its important to get a good feel for it.
