Step 12

A spiritual awakening has been described as a psychic change that is sufficient to sustain long-term recovery from alcoholism or addiction. This change does not occur by yourself. By working the 12 step program, you realize that it was through the help of others and through your relationship with God that this change in your actions, feelings, and beliefs has occurred.
