Veronica, unable to ignore the memories of her best friend, quickly falls into a world of drug and alcohol addiction. Logan first learns of her problem while watching her stumble around, drugged, at a party. However, Logan stays faithful to Veronica and tries to continue their relationship, hoping her drug will soon fade. One night, Veronica overdoses and collapses in a parking garage, where Logan finds her and saves her life. As he holds her, he thinks back over the last few months and finally realized just how different his girlfriend has become. After recovering from her overdose, Veronica goes to Logan and pledges to stay clean because she loves him.
