I’m scared of my boyfriends narcotic addiction, help me?

Question by Jemma Williams: I’m scared of my boyfriends narcotic addiction, help me?
He’s 17 and suffered from a heart condition, the doctors said that it was temporary and it disappeared seven months after he was diagnosed with it, but it left his chest area weak and painful. He was given morphine to help with the pain but when I went to his house I found empty bottles of Vicodin and fentanyl (or something like that) hidden in one of his drawers.I tried to back off him for a bit to give him some room but it didn’t help him at all.

Sometimes he completely ignores me and stays home from college for days, he’s also starting to switch doctors and complaining that he’s too cold when it was summer. I tried to get him to stop but he keeps saying he has no problem. He isn’t violent or anything if that matters. I miss him for what he used to be and when we were really in love, can anyone give me any help?
As far as I know his doctor only gave him morphine.
